Due to the success of the 2022 BYOD program it has been decided that the BYOD Program for Stage 3 students will continue in 2023.
Jannali East Public School encourages students to bring devices they already own to school for learning purposes. This is because students will already be familiar with the device and it will have minimal financial impact on families. However these devices must be able to connect to the school’s wireless internet and have certain programs or applications installed. If you intend purchasing a device we suggest the latest model iPad or Chromebook that you can afford.

In the BYOD program, students must:
- sign the JEPS-Student-user-agreement with their parent/carer before bringing their devices to school
- ensure their devices are safe and secure at all times
- keep their devices safe using carry cases, screen guards, etc
- use devices according to school and NSWDEC policies – see BYOD Documents page
